Tips for Grilling Chicken

Grilled chicken is one of the most favorites amongst chicken lovers besides baking and frying. Newbies to grilling chicken need to keep few things in mind. Tips for Grilling Chicken:Always keep the grill clean. You must ensure the grill is clean to keep all the impurities way. A clean grill will prevent the pieces from sticking to the grill.

Before you grill the chicken, a quick and useful tip would be to parboil it. This is called as pre-cooking the chicken before you actually grill the same.

For boneless chicken, you would need to cook it for 10 minutes over medium heat. Remember to keep turning it over whilst cooking so that it cooks evenly.

An important tip for grilling chicken would be to keep it moist. This is possible by making a pouch out of an aluminum foil. Include your selected vegetable and slip 2 ice cubes along with the chicken in this pouch. This will help to keep it moist. Yet another option for the same would be to marinate the chicken. One can marinate it in a variety of ways. A peep into your local grocery store would reveal many easy marinade mixtures you can use to get your grilled chicken right. BBQ sauce is also a good option if you wish to avoid the marinade. Remember to allow the chicken to cook for a minute, both sides, before you apply the sauce.

Grilled Chicken Recipe:IngredientsOlive oil (1/4 cup)Garlic minced (1 teaspoon)Skinless ripe mangoes,(about 2)Oranges (2)Coriander ground (1 teaspoon)Reduced-sodium soy sauce (1/2 cup)Salt (1/4 teaspoon)Pepper (1/4 teaspoon)Balsamic vinegar (1/4 cup)Mustard (1 teaspoon)Salad greens (1/2 lb)Butter leaves (1 lb)Chinese five spice powder Berries crushed (1 teaspoon)Orange peel grated (1 teaspoon)Boneless chicken breasts (4)Fresh ginger minced (1 teaspoon)Raspberries (optional)

PreparationCombine garlic, oil, ginger, soy and the berries in a large bowl. Then, add the orange peel as well. Now, place the chicken and marinate it for about 15 minutes. Keep turning to marinate both sides. Meanwhile, remove the skin of the mangoes and cut two round shaped portion in each side. Then, trim the remainder portion of the mango around the edge (1/2 inch) and mince the same. Place it aside for the mango vinaigrette. Now, cut the orange in crosswise pattern and place it aside.

Once done, combine the coriander and five spice and add a dash of salt and pepper. Then, lift the chicken and place it on a baking sheet. Meanwhile, place the cut mangoes on an oily grill inside a barbeque. Then, cover the chicken as well as the mango with the remaining marinade prepared earlier. With the help of a spatula, keep turning the chicken and the mango pieces. Once they brown slightly, baste it again. Now, cover the barbeque to let the chicken and mango cook properly. You may need to cook it for 20 minutes but keep turning the chicken as well as the mango.

At the same time, you can combine the minced mango with some mustard and vinegar. Then, mix it well with some lettuce and frisee. For serving, you need to lay the mangoes with the cut side facing downwards. Slice it and transfer it to a plate. Then, place them apart and place the chicken with the oranges next to it. Use the raspberries as well if required.
