Chicken coops plans

I purchased the Foursquare Chicken Coop from My Pet Chicken and have decided that I need a bigger coop. The coop is assembled, brand new, and waiting for chickens. It did come with a small broken part, but my husband has glued it back on. Here’s the link from MyPetChicken.com:http://www.mypetchick…

With plenty of roosting and nesting space, you can happily house three to four standard-size chickens, or five to six bantams. Keep in mind this coop, like every coop we sell at My Pet Chicken, is NOT intended for full-time confinement. The run is convenient when you can’t let your flock roam freely, but make sure your flock has several hours per day outside.

Versatile! Use as starter coop, hospital, or broody house
We love this model for first-timers because it offers inexpensive entree into the hobby. Features include: easy nesting box access, doors in all the right places, a slatted floor to allow droppings to pass through to the pull-out droppings tray, and a convenient “chicken door” that slides open from the outside to get your flock from the house to the run.

Features include: rounded-edge roosting pole, two nesting boxes, a ramp for entering and exiting the run, good ventilation, a plexiglass window, and a covered run area for protection from the elements.

Predator protection
With smart, predator-proof latches on all three doors and 1/2″ x 1/2″ galvanized hardware cloth on the sides of the run, this coop is safe from predators. Just close the handy sliding door from the coop to the run at dusk to prevent burrowing predators from gaining access. Or, attach your own hardware cloth to the bottom so you don’t have to worry about closing the door at night!
